Brittany Daniels, RN
Director of Medical Services
Brittany joined the First Refuge Ministries team in July of 2026 where she currently serves as
the Director of Medical Services. Originally from the state of Iowa, Brittany and her family moved
to the North Texas area about a year ago to help plant King’s Church in Denton. Brittany
attended Iowa State University her freshman year of college, where she became deeply
involved in a college ministry called the Salt Company. Following her freshman year, Brittany felt
called to pursue nursing and went on to earn her RN from Des Moines Area Community
College. Still living in Ames during this time, Brittany continued to lead and grow during her
involvement in Salt Company where she met her now husband, Drake.
Brittany’s nursing experience includes long-term care, school nursing, and child care health
consulting. Brittany and her husband Drake have been involved with three different church
plants, where Drake now serves as the Community Pastor for King’s Church Denton. They have
two sons and love spending time together as a family. Brittany and her husband are passionate
about reaching the next generation, as the Lord changed both of their lives in college while
participating in Salt Company.
Brittany enjoys bringing her passion for educating and serving the community’s health needs to
First Refuge Ministries, while faithfully sharing the gospel and living on mission wherever the
Lord calls her and her family.
