We offer Level-1 Certification in Biblical Counseling in partnership with the Association of Biblical Counselors.
It is our desire to equip you for the work of the ministry (Ephesians 4:12). This Level-1 Certification is ideal for laity, lay leaders, ministry staff and leaders, pastors and elders, licensed professional counselors, and anyone else who senses a call to care for souls.
We desire to see our students truly experience the Scriptures as “breathed out by God” (2 Timothy 3:16). Also, we will work to help each student develop the skill of “rightly handling the Word of Truth” (2 Timothy 2:15) in the counseling context.
We are committed to equipping each student with practical concepts of wisely and carefully applying the goodness of the Gospel to the matters of the heart and life. Teaching you how to do this both for yourself and those around you.
It is our prayer and hope to see our students develop sound doctrine and Gospel fluency.
We request that you actively commit to a local church, as a member in good standing with regular involvement.
We have an expectation that you be in class. We understand that life happens and sometimes things come up and are unavoidable, however we strongly encourage you make every effort to be present at class.
We ask that students be on time for class.
Be respectful and thoughtful during class. Counseling ministry requires a certain level of tact and gracefulness when engaging the sensitive areas of people’s lives and suffering.
This Biblical Counseling Training will graduate individuals with a certification from the Association of Biblical Counselors. We take this very seriously. We ask that all students committing to this training uphold a conduct of integrity and be above reproach in life and ministry.
We ask that students turn their assignments in on time to the best of their ability.
We ask that students to make their payments on time.
We ask that you work hard, have fun and learn as much as possible.
