More Than Enough: The Embracing - Part 3

Sermon 3: The Embracing
Main Text: Luke 15:20b-24a
Description: We often approach God with a calculated, proportionate view of forgiveness—believing that if we do the crime, we must do the time. But the kingdom of heaven operates on a logic that is beautifully, scandalously different. This week, we witness the breathtaking moment the father spots his dirty, swine-scented son from a distance and discards his own dignity to run, seize, and kiss him. Rather than executing the harsh penalties of the law, the father unleashes an outlandish, unmerited grace. Come marvel at a Father who doesn't wait for you to clean yourself up before He wraps you in His best robe, replaces your famine with a feast, and reminds you that His love is more than enough.
