Written Assignments
Over the course of the 9-month training you will be required to write 6x papers (2-3 pages long).
1.) Reaction page paper on Your Walk with God is a Community Project video series by Paul David Tripp
2.) Reaction paper on “What did you Expect?” video series by Paul David Tripp
3.) Paper on your personal story
4.) Case study paper
5.) 1st Semester process paper on Journal of Biblical Counseling Articles
6.) 2nd Semester process paper on Journal of Biblical Counseling Articles
Open Book Exams
There are two open book exams that will be based on the Equipped to Counsel curriculum.
1.) 1st Semester Open Book Exam
2.) 2nd Semester Open Book Exam
Mini Counseling Practicum
During the 2nd semester of Equipped to Counsel, you will be required to find a person to perform 10 counseling sessions with.
As a part of this assignment, you will be required to complete counseling notes for each session.
