Equipped to Counsel

Our Cancelation Policy

To make the Equipped to Counsel (ETC) program as accessible as possible, First Refuge Counseling covers the initial $450.00 non-refundable tuition deposit required by the Association of Biblical Counselors (ABC) for ALL students upfront. ❤️

Because First Refuge invests this amount on your behalf before classes begin, we require the following terms if you choose to cancel your enrollment:

1. For Students on the Payment Plan ($150/month)

a.) If you cancel your enrollment during Months 1–3, you remain responsible for the first 3 monthly payments (totaling $450) to help cover the ABC tuition deposit paid on your behalf, plus a $65.00 cancellation fee.

b.) If you cancel your enrollment during Month 4 or later, no further monthly payments will be processed, and no cancellation fees will be applied.

2. For Students Who Paid In Full ($1,350)

a.) If you cancel your enrollment during Months 1–3, you are eligible for a refund of your remaining balance, excluding the $450.00 ABC tuition cost and a $65.00 cancellation fee.

b.) If you cancel your enrollment during Months 4–5, you are eligible for a partial refund of your remaining balance, excluding the $450.00 ABC tuition cost. No cancellation fee applies.

c.) If you cancel your enrollment after 6 Months, refunds are no longer standard and will be evaluated at the sole discretion of First Refuge Counseling and Education.
